These retreat days surrounded by nature provide a clear framework for leaving everyday life behind and immersing yourself in the Shaolin arts. The carefully renovated farmhouse with spacious surroundings creates room for mindful being — with yourself and within the community.
The program offers a balanced mix of Shaolin Kung Fu, meditation, Qi Gong, Taijiquan, and philosophy.

A house with history
The retreat is held in a roughly 200-year-old farmhouse renovated according to ecological principles. It offers single, double, and shared rooms, all lovingly furnished. Bathrooms are located either in the rooms or on the hallway. The house also includes a meditation room, a training room, a sauna, and large outdoor areas suitable for training.

- Openness to new experiences
- Basic physical health (fitness level does not matter)
- Willingness to engage in holistic practice
- Minimum age: 16 (younger upon request)
You do not need prior experience or physical peak condition. Entry is possible even at older age. Training is adapted to your abilities — not the other way around. Content is adjusted so that no one feels over- or underchallenged.

Travel
Aetingen is reachable by car in about one hour from many major Swiss cities or 1–2 hours by train.
The nearest airport is Zurich-Kloten. From there, trains (one transfer) and a short bus ride take you to the venue in under two hours.
Before the retreat, we provide a list for participants to arrange carpools.
